Team Active:Water - Cycle to Save
Team Active:Water is designed to bring two passions together, the love of athletic adventure and the quest to save lives through providing clean water initiatives to impoverished areas of the world. Active:Water co-founder, Daren Wendell, cycled across America in 2005 and found this to be some of the best months of his life. We hope you find this campaign to be just as rewarding.
There are three different bicycle routes that go from the Atlantic to the Pacific: The Southern Tier Route, The Transamerica, and the Northern Tier Route. If it is your dream to embark on such an amazing journey, we would love to challenge you to consider using this extreme adventure to advocate on behalf of those living without safe drinking water. We are prepared to equip you with everything you need to run a successful awareness campaign, including a personal fundraising page, Team Active:Water cycling jersey, e-cards, promo cards, brochures, and video links. We ask that you share this information with your family, friends, and community and set a fundraising goal of $1-$3 for every mile of your journey.
If peddling from the Pacific ocean to the Atlantic ocean isn't exactly on your list of dreams, you may be interested in completing a century bike ride, (100 mile day or weekend tour ride) or head off to the hills for a weekend mountain biking adventure for Team Active:Water.
