ActiveWater is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses the athletic lifestyle and grassroots campaigns to bring clean water and sanitation projects to needed communities throughout the globe.
ActiveWater is made up of a tapestry of people, each bringing their own unique gifts, resources, and voice to the cause of advancing the pursuit of clean water to developing nations. Whether a member competes in a weekend-long adventure race, walks the Appalachian Trail, or hosts a community-based car wash, our volunteers are all about living sacrificially. Through their personal story, they are able to invite their friends and neighbors to become a part of the solution to the world's greatest healthcare crisis.
Due to their disciplined lifestyle and radical love for others, space is created for abundant giving. Not just charity, but the kind of giving that brings a richer, fuller life to another, even though they may seem a world away.
We believe that we are empowering people not just in communities abroad, but right in our own backyard. People are becoming free to live healthier, purposeful lives...full of passion and drive. They are finding themselves doing once unthinkable tasks, living and breathing adventures that they only could dream of before. But most of all, they are living life to the fullest, the kind of life that is only found in investing in others as much as we invest in ourselves.
